FAQ - How to watch races live!

We realise that not everyone is going to be computer savvy and understand exactly how certain websites work and operate for users. It's even more a broad landscape now for internet users as sites utilize flash video, live streaming video and more ways to interact with users across the world.

Below, we have listed some frequently asked questions and done our best to answer each!

* How do I watch live horse racing online?
The most common question and the theme of this website! First, the best way to watch races live and in near real time is via bookmakers. These live streams are officially licensed and will offer punters the best viewing experience. Below we've listed some simple steps to watch

* This guide is for those 18+ Only. Remember that T&C always applies. Geographic Restrictions apply - users in certain countries will be blocked from streaming or from the bookmakers all together. 50p win or 25p each-way bet on race required to watch.

1) You must deposit funds. You can do this easily using Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Paypal, Neteller, Skrill (Moneybookers), Click2pay, Wire transfer, entropay or via Cheque. Other methods are available. All methods generally take under 10 minutes to accept the deposit but if there are any issues, you may find this takes a little longer. Obviously for "cheques" this will take longer, generally 5-28 days.

2) Once you have deposited funds, to watch a specific race, you must place a bet on it. The text below is copied directly from bet365's manual:

"To watch: On the day of the race, you must place a bet of at least £0.50 win, or £0.25 each-way (or currency equivalent) on your selection(s), this applies to single and multiple bet types."

Our Live Streaming service is now even better than ever and with our new embedded player you can watch the action from inside the race card. To launch the player, simply place a qualifying bet, click on the WATCH icon located next to the At The Races or Racing UK logo at the top of the card and enjoy the action.

Again, using bet365 as an example, their live streaming is compatible with pc, mac and laptop computers. All browsers are supported such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox etc, and most internet/broadband connections will have no problem viewing lag-free streaming. The broadcast will begin approximately 5 seconds before the race is scheduled to start and will last for about 8-10 minutes.

Once again, using bet365 as an example, users based in the USA, Japan, Hong Kong France and Sri Lanka cannot stream the races live.
